Center for Non Violence: A dedicated space to learn about the philosophy and methods of nonviolence.

Our world is witnessing massive Violence in its various forms. Unfortunately, the response to violence is also usually based on violent methods. Violence leads to more violence. We do not have the privilege to choose between violence and non-violence. and non-violence, we are forced to choose between violence and the extinction of humanity. Our project aims to to create awareness for non-violence as a philosophy and method for personal, social, political and economic change. It is an ongoing project. Every month there are lectures by experts on the topic of nonviolence and group work on non-violent methods of conflict resolution.

The project includes the following activities:

1) A dedicated space in Erfurt for the philosophy and methods of nonviolence will be created. This room will be equipped with books and literature;

2) Study circles of youth, students and adults interested people from the city of Erfurt. who see nonviolence as a means for personal, social, political and economic and economic change are organized;

3) Monthly discussion by academics/practitioners on philosophy and methods of nonviolence are planned;

4) Small Library with books, literature and material will be available on nonviolence;

a) Philosophy and methods of nonviolence;

b) The collected works of Mahatma Gandhi;

c) Other nonviolent actions in the social/political history of the world;

5) Exhibition of various projects based on nonviolence are planned;

6) Films on the theme of nonviolence will be shown;

In this way a special place will be created in Erfurt, which will serve to learn something about the methods and philosophy of nonviolence.
