„Sustainable Fashion Goes Thüringen

The campaign “Sustainable Fashion Goes Thüringen - Let's bring sustainable fashion to every classroom, campus & community!” aims to raise awareness of the social and environmental impacts of the fashion industry among schoolchildren, students, adults, and the general public through creative educational projects, to highlight sustainable alternatives, and to inspire the target groups to consume sustainably. Our goal is to empower young people in Thuringia in particular to understand the global connections between consumption, the environment, and human rights and to acquire transformative action skills in the spirit of global sustainable development.

We are planning targeted events for children, teenagers, and young adults between September 2025 and December 2026. During this period, we want to raise awareness of sustainability in the clothing sector among the target groups and strengthen their capacity for action in the area of sustainable consumption. We are planning events with the following stakeholders:
A)  Universities: Target group: students/young adults
B)  Schools: Target group: pupils in grades 1-12 of all school types
C)  Public cooperation events with other NGOs: Target group: local public, especially young adults
