Women Cafe

The Women's Café is a special space by women for women and was launched in July 2022. The café enables exchanges between women of different generations as well as intercultural exchanges in order to promote peaceful coexistence and solidarity. To this end, the café brings together women of different ages, places of origin and religious affiliation and enables them to engage in exchange through joint activities. The Women's Café serves as a networking opportunity for women to support each other in all situations of life. The project aims to promote exchange between generations and between different cultures in order to strengthen democracy in Erfurt and Thuringia and ultimately contribute to peaceful coexistence. In addition, the Women's Café is a family offer for women with children, as there is child care during the Café meeting. The activities include open café meetings as well as theme- or activity-related meetings, e.g. cooking or film evenings or craft afternoons together with the children.
